Clinical Laboratory Student / Laboratory Assistant

Position Overview
QR Diagnostics is seeking a motivated clinical laboratory student or licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist interested in gaining practical experience in a clinical laboratory setting. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and exposure to daily laboratory operations, testing workflows, and quality practices in a clinical toxicology laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with specimen receiving, accessioning, labeling, and organization.
Support routine laboratory workflows and sample preparation under appropriate supervision.
Help maintain laboratory supplies, inventory, and organized work areas.
Assist with documentation, quality control records, and other administrative laboratory tasks.
Follow established standard operating procedures and laboratory safety, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
Work alongside laboratory staff to learn about clinical testing processes and instrumentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Current enrollment in a Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program preferred.
Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientists are also encouraged to apply. Higher compensation available for candidates holding an active Florida Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow written procedures and work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Previous laboratory experience is helpful but not required for students.
