QA Inspector - Simply Biotech

Immediate opening for a QA Technician in Torrance, CA who possess:
- Prior experience working in a GMP environment

FULL DESCRIPTION: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the product is met through periodic verification of quality standards. The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring the environment operates under cGMP standards and is to assist in ensuring this is accomplished. The Quality Technician is to exercise the necessary skills to ensure these standards are met through documentation and periodic inspection.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Visually inspect tablets and capsules on the conveyor belt for defects such as chips, cracks, discoloration, deformities, broken capsules, and foreign material
- Remove nonconforming product from the line according to established procedures
- Document defects and report recurring issues to the Quality Supervisor
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety and hygiene protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
The selected candidate will also possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
- Good color vision and visual acuity (corrected vision is acceptable)
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Willingness to follow strict hygiene requirements, including wearing gloves, hairnets, lab coats, and other protective gear
- Prior inspection or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required; training provided
Salary Range: $20-21/hour
