We are seeking a dedicated physician to join our team and deliver comprehensive, patient-centered primary care in a supportive outpatient setting.

Position: Family / General Practice Physician
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Organization: Via Care Community Health Center
Practice Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Schedule: Full-Time Outpatient Primary Care
Annual Salary: $260,000 $290,000, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive health, acute illness management, and chronic disease management.
Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
Support high-risk patients through care management, patient education, and follow-up.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to improve patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and clinical supervision as needed.
Deliver culturally sensitive and patient-centered care to diverse populations.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an acceptable Family Medicine residency or qualifying board certification.
Active California Medical License.
Experience in an FQHC or a similar setting serving uninsured and underserved populations.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
English fluency required; additional language skills strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
Valid California driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
Required automobile insurance coverage.
Successful criminal background check.
Annual TB screening and required physical clearance.
COVID-19 vaccination as required by the organization.
