The Role:
- Location: Paducah, KY
- Assignment duration: Nov 25-29, 6-7 a month with potential of more
- Shift Type: 24-hour 7a-7a beeper call; 6-7 a month with potential of more.
- Cases: Routine delivery; Vaginal; Low forceps; Decision-making for C-section; Complicated delivery; C-section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions; VBACs; Repair of 3rd-4th degree lacerations
- Site Charting System: EPIC.
- Number of Providers Needed: 1-3
- Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
- Patient Population: Adult
- % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% Inpatient
- Average # of Patients Per Day: 1-6
- Midwife Coverage: Midwives will take call and deliver own patients
- Nursery Level: II
- Delivery volume: 700-800 total deliveries annually
- Requirements: Active KY License or IMLC, BC or BE, BLS, DEA
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
