Job Overview
We are seeking motivated, entry-level candidates for the Assembler I position in Dexter, Michigan. This role supports manufacturing and production operations by performing assembly tasks, following established work instructions, using basic tools, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in manufacturing. No prior manufacturing experience or specific educational qualification is required. Training and guidance will be provided to help candidates learn the necessary processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly tasks according to established procedures.
- Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions.
- Prepare, assemble, and handle products and components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform continuity checks on work in progress and completed assemblies, as required.
- Inspect products and assemblies to ensure compliance with established quality specifications.
- Assemble, disassemble, modify, rework, and test assemblies or subassemblies according to instructions.
- Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines and related production equipment, as assigned.
- Monitor equipment during operation and report malfunctions or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
- Record basic production data and maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Follow standard operating procedures, workplace safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
- Assist with manufacturing, packaging, processing, inventory, and distribution activities as needed.
