Michael Bates Chevrolet is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician who can handle diagnostics, electrical work, general repair, and major R&R. With approximately 170 vehicles coming through the dealership each week, this is an opportunity to join an established service department with strong shop volume, foreman support, and a full benefits package.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair Domestic and GM vehicles
- Perform general automotive repair and maintenance
- Diagnose drivability concerns
- Perform electrical diagnosis and repair
- Complete engine and transmission removal and replacement
- Perform digital vehicle inspections
- Identify and order necessary parts
- Work efficiently within a high-volume dealership environment
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of automotive technician experience
- A-Level diagnostic and repair capabilities
- Valid driver's license
- Required State of Michigan certification/licensing applicable to the position
- Own professional automotive tools
- Experience working with digital vehicle inspections
- Ability to handle both diagnostic and maintenance work
ASE certifications and previous dealership or GM experience are preferred.
