Pharmacy Technician Highlights Pay: $17.50/hr (licensed) $16.50/hr (trainee) Schedule (40 hours/week):Shift Option 1 (1 opening): Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Shift Option 2 (2 openings): Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Onsite position (Mechanicsville, VA 23116) This position is a Temporary (13-week) contract Responsibilities Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and completing member/physician outreach Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation and guidance Assist with inbound/outbound patient or physician calls Other duties as assigned Requirements High School diploma (or equivalent) 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation Basic computer skills Safety-sensitive role; will have access to PHI and will support pharmacy/healthcare Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
