Our client, an Am Law Firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Trademark Paralegal supporting their Trademark, Copyright & Branding Practice Group. This position is available in select Midwest and Southwest markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios for a diverse client base.
- Prepare, file, and maintain U.S. and foreign trademark applications, renewals, assignments, and related prosecution documents.
- Conduct trademark searches, monitor deadlines, and maintain docket accuracy.
- Handle USPTO, WIPO, TTAB, and Copyright Office filings and correspondence.
- Coordinate with foreign associates on international filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement matters.
- Support copyright registrations, domain name management, ownership transfers, and IP due diligence projects.
- Prepare status reports and communicate regularly with attorneys, clients, and foreign counsel regarding portfolio activity and deadlines.
- Assist with trademark enforcement matters, watch notices, adverse proceedings, and special IP projects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of trademark paralegal experience supporting large domestic and international portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of USPTO, WIPO, TTAB, and international trademark procedures.
- Experience with trademark docketing systems and deadline management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
- Paralegal certificate required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
