Production Tooling Technician

• Safely install and remove molds from injection molding machines according to production schedules. This includes proper alignment and secure mounting of molds.
• Set up machines with proper parameters, including temperature, pressure, and cycle time.
• Inspect molds and machines for wear, damage, or defects and report issues to maintenance or tooling departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mold storage and work areas.
• Collaborate with process technicians and quality control to ensure product specifications are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during mold changes and machine setups.
• Responsible for accurate and thorough documentation and data communication

• High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and capable of learning injection molding processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings, and setup sheets.
• Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, and other mold handling equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy molds (up to 50 lbs or more with assistance).
• Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
