Job Title: Physician - Hematology Oncology

The Armes Family Cancer Care Center offers a comprehensive range of services in a newly expanded facility, featuring dedicated medical and radiation oncology, as well as access to advanced resources like Mayo Clinic eConsults.
Job Responsibilities
- Work four clinic days plus one remote administrative day.
- Maintain a balanced practice comprising 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology.
- Be part of an established referral base for various cancers, including breast, colon, lung, and prostate.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 Hematology/Oncology physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Participate in 1:4 inpatient call with additional call compensation.
- Benefit from 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage.
- Access full specialty support across 54 specialties.
- Participate in clinical trials, genetic counseling, and patient navigation.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology (within 5 years of eligibility).
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
License and Certification Requirements
- Valid Ohio medical license (compact licenses not accepted).
- Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required.
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, active).
