Opportunity:BE/BC - Cardiovascular Surgery
Job Details:- Join a hospital-employed practice with two existing Cardiovascular Surgeons, located approximately 53 miles from Charlotte, NC
- Position is open to both Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons in support of true program growth
- Full scope of adult cardiothoracic and cardiovascular procedures required
- Call schedule is 1:3
- Experience preferred but not required; Fellowship in transcatheter valve and complex aortic surgery preferred
- Cardiovascular procedures include: advanced CABG techniques, endoscopic vein harvest, multi-arterial grafting, arrhythmia surgery, endovascular surgery, thoracic aortic surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, TEVAR, TAVR, and valvular repair/replacement
- General thoracic procedures include: EBUS, lobectomy, mediastinoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, wedge resections, VATS, management of pericardial/pleural fluid collections, pneumothorax management, and thoracic trauma management
- Open heart and minimally invasive valvular procedures include: aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair/replacement, combined valvular repair/replacement, tricuspid valve repair, and surgical closure of septal defects
- Treatment of conditions including aortic insufficiency, aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, mitral stenosis, and rheumatic disease
