DM Moczek Optometrist LLC is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Part-Time Optometric Technician to join our patient-focused eye care teams in West Chester and Fairfield, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Patient Preparation & Care
Welcome patients and guide them through their visit with a friendly, reassuring attitude.
Interview patients to collect and document their medical histories, current symptoms, and primary visual complaints.
Sanitize, stock, and prepare examination rooms to maintain a safe, sterile environment.
Diagnostic Equipment Operation (Training Provided)
Learn to operate specialized ophthalmic diagnostic equipment to perform pre-examination testing.
Conduct baseline vision screenings, including autorefraction, peripheral vision checks (visual fields), and retinal imaging.
Precisely log all preliminary test results into our electronic database for the doctor.
Administrative Support & Scheduling
Manage the practice calendar by scheduling appointments and following up on patient confirmations.
Answer phone calls, handle general inquiries, and manage patient check-in/check-out procedures.
Assist patients with basic needs, such as teaching them how to insert and remove contact lenses safely.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
No Experience Needed: We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over an extensive resume. Retail, customer service, or hospitality backgrounds transfer beautifully to this role!
