Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

ATC West is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for an extended maternity leave at a 247-bed hospital in Cookeville, Tennessee. This is a full-time, weekday opportunity with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities.

• Location: Tennessee
• Facility: 247-bed hospital
• Coverage Needed: ASAP through October 23
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week
• No after-hours, overtime, or weekend call
• Acute Care / Emergency General Surgery (EGS) program
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

• General surgery clinic
• Inpatient rounding
• Surgical consults
• Acute Care Surgery / Emergency General Surgery (EGS) patient management
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Tennessee license required
• General surgery experience preferred
• Acute care surgery or hospital-based surgical experience strongly preferred
• Prefer a clinician who lives in Tennessee
