Opportunity:Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Trauma
Job Details:- Provide comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight nocturnist coverage (7PM - 7AM)
- Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings
- Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management
- Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document all patient care using Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes
- Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards
- Must have specific APP experience in trauma, critical care, and/or surgery
- Minimum two (2) years of trauma surgery experience required, or completion of a surgical fellowship
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree in Nursing required
- Nurse Practitioner Certification by ANCC or AANPCB required
- Active, unrestricted Colorado state license required
- Must be eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
- BLS certification required; clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- Must have no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
- Visa sponsorship not available; J-1 and H-1B visas not accepted
- Not accepting new graduates; locum or locum-to-perm arrangements not considered
