We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The successful applicant will have a strong background in maintenance, with a focus on high-voltage systems.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting using tools such as a voltmeter and schematics.
- Utilize a forklift to access high areas for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Fabricate and install new components or parts as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to complete tasks efficiently.
- Provide support to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility as a maintenance technician.
- Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Experience with high-voltage systems and controls.
- Some knowledge in plc and vfd programming.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, forklifts, air compressors, and equipment installation.
- Proficiency with welding techniques.
- Some machining and autocad background.
- Experience with fabricating and installing new components or parts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
