Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter / CAD Designer to create detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings for industrial products. The ideal candidate will have strong CAD skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret blueprints and translate design requirements into accurate technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical drawings and fabrication plans using CAD software.
• Develop and revise technical drawings to support manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams as needed to support design and production activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and attention to detail.
• Drafting Technology certificate or associate degree preferred.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based, with extended periods of computer work.
• Occasional visits to the manufacturing floor may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate a computer and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
