Restaurant Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Manager to oversee the operational side of a small, high-volume kitchen team. Reporting to the Owner or Operator, this role combines hands-on line cooking with staff scheduling, food ordering, vendor and purchasing management, and team development. The Kitchen Manager will execute established menus, promote service speed and consistency, and ensure health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations for a small, high-volume team.
• Work on the line and support food preparation during service.
• Create and maintain staff schedules.
• Order food products and manage vendors and purchasing.
• Control inventory and monitor product availability.
• Evaluate staff performance and support staff development.
• Train kitchen team members on procedures, recipes, and food preparation.
• Maintain food safety standards and ensure recipe compliance.
• Promote service speed and consistency throughout kitchen operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant kitchen management experience.
• ServSafe certification.
• Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Experience in inventory management and food ordering.
• Experience with staff scheduling and team leadership.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
