About the Role: Red Robin Kuber Oregon LLC is looking for a passionate and driven Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in Portland, OR! Responsibilities: - Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts
- Manage, train, and mentor kitchen staff including cooks and prep team members
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to uphold brand standards
- Control food costs through proper inventory management, ordering, and waste reduction
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to coordinate seamless service
- Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs and labor targets
Requirements: - 2+ years of kitchen management or culinary leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team
- Experience with inventory control, food costing, and ordering
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
