Primary Job includes:
- Climbing
- You need to be able to work cooperatively as part of a team, be eager to learn, have a good attitude, and have a good work ethic.
- Train new young employees in proper climbing and tree care practices
- Maintain work records daily
- Loading/unloading equipment/tools
- Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are brought down in tree cutting work. Raking area clear to maintain the safety zone.
- Feeding limbs and debris into chipper
- Driving to and from the customer's home
- Using chainsaws to cut trees/shrubs into manageable pieces
- Lower branches with ropes or block tackle
- Work outdoors in all seasons
- Operate equipment such as a chipper, loader, chainsaw, and other equipment
- Adhere to all safety rules and company regulations
- Must be able to pass a background check & drug screening
- CDL license a plus
Sales
- Inspect trees and identify potential health or safety concerns.
- Meet with customers and recommend appropriate tree care services.
- Prepare accurate estimates and sales proposals.
- Follow up on quotes and close sales
- Stay knowledgeable about arboriculture, safety standards, and local regulations.
Starting salary is based on experience.
