We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist for a 90-day assignment in Massachusetts, commencing Oct 31, 2026. This role involves comprehensive psychiatric assessments, psychological testing, and identifying behavioral patterns, with shifts from 8:30am-5pm. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide individual or group therapy as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Comprehensive Psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
- Conducts psychological testing to assist in the diagnostic process
- Research and identify behavioral or emotional patterns of patients
- Documentation utilizing the Hospital electronic medical records
- Initiate Treatment Team risk assessment and review
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
- Collaborate with Department of Mental Health clinical team
- Collaborate with the Independent Forensic Review evaluators
- Collaborate with the units attorney, court liaison staff, and the legal system
- Monitor the legal status of the patients and provide the treatment team with updates
- Provide individual and / or group therapy to patients as needed
- May be called upon to provide training to staff when needed.
