Position Overview- Annual Volume: 23,000 ED visits
- Coverage: 24 hours/day, 8-hour physician shifts
- Support: Daily APC coverage
- Facility: 30-bed hospital with modern emergency department
- Technology: Cerner EMR
- Leadership: New, engaged EM physician leadership team
- Optional Rotation: Opportunity to rotate through other Mission Health hospitals in Western North Carolina
Who We're Looking For- Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Great communicator who thrives in a collegial team environment
- Comfortable in a community hospital setting
