Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit Information
Location: Derry, NH
- Number of OR Rooms: 4
- Staffing: 5 Registered Nurses (RNs), 6 Surgical Technologists (STs), with 4 as First Assists
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Night Shift: On Call from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday)
- Types of Procedures: Robotic, Orthopedic, Total Joint, ENT, GYN, General, Bariatric, Podiatry, etc.
- EMR System: Meditech
- Awards: CNOR strong certification for 3 consecutive years; recognized as a Unit of Distinction in 2019
- Certifications: Joint Commission certified in both Knee and Hip procedures
Position Overview Core Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, demonstrating expertise in both robotic and conventional techniques.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Required:
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Active nursing license in New Hampshire at the time of submission
- Preferred:
- Experience with scrub procedures
- CNOR certification

Additional Information
- Dress Code: Grey scrubs provided and laundered by the facility
- Weekend and On-Call Requirements: Rotate every 5-6 weekends; one on-call evening per week
