Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department (ED). This is an excellent opportunity to join a team in a Trauma Level 4 setting, with a focus on acute care for patients in critical need.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes effectively.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC are required.
- NRP and ENPC certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic, is required.
- Charge nurse experience is essential.
- Preceptor experience is preferred.
Work Environment
The role requires flexibility to work on holidays and weekends as needed based on department demands.
Location
Position available in the Emergency Department in a location within the region. Specific city and state are to be determined based on application submissions.
