What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage at a leading facility in Richland, Washington.
- Conduct daily inpatient rounding during scheduled daytime hours.
- Provide clinic coverage as assigned.
- Manage weeknight beeper call following the daytime shift.
- Evaluate and treat patients requiring cardiology services.
- Collaborate with the care team to support coordinated inpatient care.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and handoffs.
What You Need
Required - Board certification in cardiology.
- Active medical license or IMLC eligibility.
- Current DEA registration.
- Availability for at least two full weeks per month.
- Ability to provide inpatient coverage, rounding, clinic care, and night call.
Preferred - Availability for ongoing coverage through 2027.
- Experience with inpatient cardiology and call coverage.
About the Assignment
This locums assignment provides ongoing inpatient cardiology coverage, including daily rounding, clinic responsibilities, and weeknight beeper call. Scheduled coverage is generally arranged for two weeks per month, with 12-hour daytime shifts and continued call responsibilities after the shift.
