What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage through 24-hour beeper call.
- Respond to call-back needs during assigned coverage periods.
- Deliver interventional cardiology services as part of an approximately 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive practice.
- Perform required interventional cardiology responsibilities within the assigned practice.
- Complete required nuclear medicine reading and related nuclear medicine activity.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case information as required for credentialing and privileging.
- Participate in scheduled coverage dates and assignment-related orientation requirements.
What You Need
Required: - Active California medical license
- DEA registration
- Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate specialty, within 3 5 years of residency
- Active fluoroscopy credentials
- Several years of interventional cardiology experience
- At least two years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
- Current CV with complete hospital affiliations
- Ability to provide required case logs and explain clinical gaps greater than three months
Preferred: - Experience providing 24-hour inpatient beeper call coverage
- Experience with both interventional and noninvasive cardiology services
- Nuclear medicine reading experience
