Dishwasher Responsibilities- Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to ensure constant availability of clean service ware.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dish room throughout service, ensuring equipment and work areas remain orderly.
- Clean and care for kitchen machines and appliances such as mixers, pots, pans, sheet trays, and other cookware.
- Support kitchen readiness by cleaning cook stations and preparing the back-of-house for the next shift.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and properly storing deliveries as needed.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and dish room floors, especially when spills or breakages occur, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Remove trash, recycle appropriately, and rinse out garbage cans to uphold sanitation standards.
- Support the broader restaurant team by assisting with additional cleaning or organizational tasks as needed.
- Report any kitchen accidents, equipment issues, or food safety concerns to leadership promptly.
- Execute end-of-night closing duties, including shutting down, cleaning, and maintaining the dish machine.
- Help ensure the restaurant is clean and guest-ready by assisting with tasks such as cleaning dining room floors, patios, and restrooms before business hours.
Requirements- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong work ethic with a reliable, positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
- Good organizational skills with strong time-management and the ability to stay efficient in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to follow standard kitchen operating procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment guidelines.
- Knowledge of basic safety standards and a commitment to complying with all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workspace.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist with additional tasks across the kitchen when needed.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food handler certification as required by state and local agencies.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
