What You ll Do
- Provide outpatient OBGYN care during scheduled clinic hours.
- Provide inpatient coverage and weeknight and weekend beeper-call coverage.
- Manage obstetric care, including approximately 0 2 deliveries during a 24-hour call shift when applicable.
- Perform or assist with in-office procedures and minor gynecologic or operating-room surgeries.
- Evaluate and manage gynecologic concerns, including emergency cases such as ectopic pregnancy.
- Maintain documentation and clinical care consistent with applicable standards.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support continuity of patient care.
What You Need
Required: - Active Oregon medical license
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility within 3 5 years
- Both OB and GYN privileges
- Sufficient OB and GYN case logs from the past 24 months to support credentialing
Preferred: - Availability for full-time coverage
- Ability to work a 1-week-on/1-week-off or 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedule
About the Assignment
This assignment is with a leading facility in Hood River, Oregon, supporting both clinic and call coverage. Providers will work scheduled clinic days and approximately eight call shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend call shift and weeknight call coverage. Coverage may be provided by one full-time physician or by two providers sharing the schedule.
