Position Highlights
- Pay: $75.00 per hour
- Schedule: 3 days per week
- Every Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Every Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- One weekday per week: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Patient Population: Ages 18 months and older
- Setting: Primary Care
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for pediatric and adult patients ages 18 months and older.
- Evaluate patients, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Treat common illnesses and conditions, including respiratory infections, UTIs, allergies, skin conditions, and minor injuries.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Provide preventive care, vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations.
- Perform women's health services, including pregnancy testing and STI screening, with referrals as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications and order and interpret diagnostic tests within the scope of licensure.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive health.
- Document patient encounters in EPIC and maintain accurate, compliant medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license.
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in one or more of the following settings:
- Primary Care
- Urgent Care
- Emergency Room (ER)
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Hospital-Based Care
