Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM Consistent weekday schedule
Hands-On Surgical Experience Serve as first assist during orthopedic procedures

Position Responsibilities
First assist orthopedic surgeons during operative procedures
Conduct inpatient rounds and postoperative evaluations
Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient clinic setting
Perform casting, splinting, and wound care
Assist with orthopedic consultations and patient assessments
Provide preoperative and postoperative management
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams
Participate in call coverage as assigned
Ideal Candidate
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Active Texas license or ability to obtain licensure
Orthopedic or relevant surgical experience preferred
OR first-assist experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working across surgical, inpatient, and outpatient settings
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
