Seeking a board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska, beginning January 2027. This role offers a unique combination of in-person pediatric specialty care, virtual hospital call coverage, and the opportunity to support continuity of care for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions.
The ideal candidate is interested in an ongoing commitment, with a schedule that combines onsite clinic weeks and remote call coverage weeks. Physicians who can provide consistent coverage across both settings are strongly encouraged to apply.
Opportunity Highlights
Start Date: January 1, 2027
Assignment Duration: Through January 1, 2028, with ongoing coverage needs
Clinic Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Flexible Coverage Model: Approximately two weeks onsite and two weeks of virtual call coverage per month
Call: Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend call during onsite weeks; 24-hour virtual call during remote coverage weeks
Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per shift
