Pain Management Physician

Location: Sacramento and Roseville, California
Additional coverage: Physicians will primarily work at one main location and may cover another location approximately once per week as needed.

Position: Full-Time Interventional Pain Management Physician

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

• Monday-Friday practice schedule based on stated business hours.

• Specific call/weekend requirements were not provided and should not be added.

The Facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician to join its multidisciplinary pain management practice. The physician will evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions and provide interventional pain management services.

The facility physician team includes fellowship-trained and board-certified pain specialists with backgrounds in interventional pain, anesthesiology, PM&R and pain medicine.

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in an appropriate specialty

• Interventional Pain Management training/experience

• California medical license

• Ability to provide comprehensive pain management care

• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Team-oriented approach

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain

• Develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide interventional pain management procedures appropriate to training and experience

• Manage patients through ongoing pain treatment

• Collaborate with PAs, NPs and other members of the multidisciplinary team

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
