Full-time, hospital-employed opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist. Enjoy the relationship-focused environment and autonomy of community medicine while maintaining access to academic-level oncology resources.Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of hematologic disorders and solid tumors. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary oncology team. Manage systemic cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive treatments as appropriate. Monitor treatment response, laboratory results, imaging studies, disease progression, and treatment-related complications. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with regional subspecialists on complex cases. Provide ongoing education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and survivorship. Coordinate care with primary care physicians, surgeons, radiation oncology, palliative care, and other specialists. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology. Current or eligible unrestricted Vermont medical license. Strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
