Job description

Locum CRNA for hospital in Norther NY close to NY/VT border
  • CRNA manages patients during procedures; will perform anesthesia on all ages
  • Skills required: Labor epidural, comfort with central line placement preferable but not required
  • Types of cases: bread and butter, includes OB, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, healthy pediatrics, outpatient surgery, occasional thoracic, trauma and regional anesthesia; will insert lumbar epidural catheters, administer spinal anesthesia and will sometimes administer Axillary Brachial Plexus Blocks; though not typical, CRNA may perform other procedures and aid as needed
  • Practice model: care team and independent practice. Cases are a mix of direction supervision and independent. Position offers a lot of autonomy.
