This position will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our company, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a particular focus on cost accounting in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for: 1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP. 2. Performing vlookups and creating pivot tables to analyze financial data. 3. Preparing and recording journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations. 4. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. 5. Performing cost accounting tasks, including inventory valuation and cost analysis. 6. Utilizing SAP software for various accounting tasks and financial management. 7. Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline and improve financial processes. 8. Assisting in the preparation for financial audits and implementing audit recommendations. 9. Maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance with best practices. 10. Providing support to the Senior Accountant and other team members as needed. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant position will have the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in vlookups, pivot tables, and other data analysis tools. 4. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. 5. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices, including inventory valuation and cost analysis. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. 8. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 9. A solid understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles. 10. Experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements. 11. Experience in preparing journal entries and ensuring their accuracy.
