Assembly Technician

Troutdale, OR $19/hour Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

We are looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician who enjoys building things and working with small, intricate parts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and can follow detailed drawings and schematics.

You'll be assembling circuit boards, control panels, robotics, and other high-tech equipment using a variety of hand tools. The products are high-tech, but the assembly is very hands-on.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble small, detailed components and finished products.
  • Use hand tools to build circuit boards, control panels, robotics, and other equipment.
  • Read and follow drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Work with small and intricate parts that require good hand strength and dexterity.
  • Troubleshoot and figure out how components fit and work together.
  • Work on a variety of projects and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Maintain quality and accuracy while meeting production deadlines.
  • Occasionally crouch, reach overhead, bend, and work in different positions.

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

We're looking for someone who is naturally good at putting things together. If you enjoy puzzles, building projects, working with your hands, or figuring out how things fit together, you may be a great fit.

Experience in construction, fabrication, robotics, manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electronics is helpful. Construction candidates are encouraged to apply if they have experience reading drawings or schematics.

You should be:

  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools
  • Detail-oriented and patient with small parts
  • Able to read drawings and schematics
  • Versatile and willing to learn different assembly processes
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working with your hands throughout the day

ISO-certified manufacturing environment with opportunities for overtime.

If you're the type of person who likes to build, figure things out, and solve problems with your hands, we'd like to talk to you.
