Production Technician & Electronics Assembler

We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Production Technician to take ownership of our electronics assembly and shop inventory. Working alongside our Production Lead, you will build and test our line of devices, assist with some light CNC machining, and manage our inventory and purchasing. If you love building electronics, working with your hands, and keeping a shop running like a well-oiled machine, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electronics & Hardware Assembly: Solder, wire, assemble, and test adaptive hardware to exact quality standards.
• Purchasing & Inventory Management: Monitor shop components and raw materials. Assist with purchasing, coordinate with vendors, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials for our products.
• Operations: Assist with operating and maintaining shop machinery, including light CNC for custom enclosures, plastics, and component parts (training provided if necessary).
• Quality Control: Perform rigorous functionality testing on all assembled electronics before fulfillment.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-On Assembly & Soldering: Proven experience with through-hole/surface-mount soldering, wire stripping, crimping, and reading basic circuit diagrams or assembly guides.
• Manufacturing/Shop Mindset: Familiarity with managing a assembly materials, counting inventory, and ordering raw materials.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain strict quality standards during repetitive assembly processes.

Preferred Skills (Bonus, not required):

• Experience operating or programming CNC machinery, 3D printers, or laser cutters.
• Previous experience in a small-scale manufacturing or hardware prototyping environment.
• Familiarity with assistive technology or accessibility devices.
