JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC
  • Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC or have started processing
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
  • Other Qualifications: Proficiency in UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, intubations; Epic EMR proficiency; team-based care
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily care of neonates in Level II NICU
  • APP's work in collaboration with the MD's but it is the APP that oversees the daily care of the babies
  • Collaborate with attending physicians for patient management
  • Perform procedures including UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations
  • Provide care for newborns in the nursery as needed
  • Document patient care in Epic EHR
