Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
- Medically directed model with a 1:3 ratio (maximum 1:4)
- Full-time coverage needed per month
- Patient population includes all ages
- Work alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians to deliver high quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas
- Exposure to diverse and complex patient populations given wide case mix and Level I Trauma designation
- EMR: Epic
- 593-bed hospital
- Special procedures include: Trauma, Neuro & Spine, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular & APS, NORA locations, OB/GYN, General, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Ortho, and Robotics
- CRNAs perform epidurals without a doctor present; blocks are not performed by CRNAs
- Required skills include: GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, ultrasound techniques, epidurals, C-sections, and cardiac
- Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist required
- Active Pennsylvania license or compact license required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred

This is a large acute care hospital with 593 beds and a Level I Trauma designation, offering a wide and diverse case mix across multiple surgical and procedural specialties. The facility operates with a medically directed anesthesia model and utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system. Staff work collaboratively across departments including trauma, cardiac, thoracic, neurosurgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, and more, providing a dynamic and high-acuity clinical environment.
