Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology
Job Details:
- Inpatient hospital coverage needed one week per month
- Schedule runs Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with 8-hour guaranteed shifts
- No night call required
- 8-hour daytime rounding shifts focused on lower-acuity patients in the regular NICU unit
- Approximately 35 patient encounters per shift in a 52-bed department
- NP Delineation of Privileges (DOP) required; documentation needed showing completion within the past 24 months of: 5 lumbar punctures, 5 arterial line procedures, 5 central line procedures, 5 chest tube procedures, and 5 airway management/intubation procedures
- CV surgery cases are referred out for intervention
- Board certification required
- Active license or IMLC required
- DEA required
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, and NRP
