Seeking an experienced Neonatologist for a per diem locum opportunity in Amarillo, Texas.

REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Board Certified in Neonatology - Required
- Active Texas License - Required
REQUIRED CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year of post-fellowship clinical experience - Required
- Recent Neonatology experience within the past 12 months - Required
- Must have been clinically active within the past year - Required
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in the specialty - Required
AVAILABILITY & CALL
- 24-hour rounding with out-of-house call
- Weekend coverage required
- On-call coverage required
- Per diem opportunity
NICU & CLINICAL SETTING
- 35-bed Level III NICU
- Average daily census: 23-25
- NNP support available 24/7
- Pediatric Hospitalist coverage for newborns
- In-house pediatric subspecialty support includes:
- Cardiology
- Nephrology
- Pediatric Surgery
- Endocrinology
KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Must have:
- Neonatology board certification
- Active Texas license
- 1+ year post-fellowship experience
- Recent Neonatology practice within the last 12 months
- At least 6 months of experience in Neonatology
- Active clinical practice within the past year
- Availability for weekends and call
