Position OverviewClient is seeking a qualified Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician to provide beeper call coverage at in Tennessee, over the Christmas holiday period.
This opportunity involves both obstetric and gynecologic call responsibilities, including phone consultations, patient evaluations, admissions, and management of routine and complicated deliveries. The physician must be able to respond within 20 minutes when required.

Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe physician must be comfortable managing a broad range of obstetric and gynecologic cases, including:
Low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
Routine vaginal deliveries
Complicated deliveries
C-section decision-making and cesarean deliveries
Breech presentations
Multiple births
Patient evaluations, phone consultations, and admissions
Rounding on assigned patients
QualificationsBoard-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Tennessee medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
Current BLS and PALS certifications
Experience managing routine and high-risk obstetric cases
EMR: MEDHOST
Staffing Support: 3 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 1 office staff member
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 45 days

Additional InformationNo advanced practice provider supervision is required.
No resident or teaching supervision is required.
