We re seeking an orthopedic surgeon for call coverage at a hospital in Central New York. This assignment focuses on orthopedic trauma care in inpatient and emergency settings.
Assignment details
- Schedule: Call coverage
- Setting: Inpatient and emergency department
- EMR: Epic
- Patient volume: Approximately 10 patients per week
- Trauma designation: Level III
- Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat orthopedic trauma patients; perform operative and non-operative procedures as clinically indicated
Qualifications
- ABOS board eligible or board certified
- Active New York medical license
- Recent orthopedic trauma experience required, with practice within the past year
- Trauma fellowship preferred, but not required
MDSP coordinates travel, malpractice coverage, and credentialing so you can focus on patient care.
