The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in family law and a proven track record in litigation. This is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and work within a team of highly skilled legal professionals. If you are a passionate advocate with a deep understanding of family law, we are eager to meet you. Responsibilities: 1. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations related to family law matters including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division. 2. Draft and review various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and other correspondence. 3. Conduct thorough case investigations to discover all relevant facts and data. 4. Develop strong strategies and arguments for presentation in court. 5. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their legal rights, obligations, and options. 6. Negotiate settlements in a timely and advantageous manner. 7. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client and court interactions. 8. Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in family law and judicial decisions. 9. Participate in business development activities such as networking and relationship building to attract and retain clients. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in family law with a strong background in litigation. 3. A current license to practice law in the state. 4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Proven ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines. 6. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex cases and develop effective strategies. 7. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards. 8. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. 9. Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems. 10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 11. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 12.
