Junior Plumber Mechanic/Helper

In this role, you will assist experienced plumbers with installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in both Residential and Commercial sites. Responsibilities

• Assist Master Plumbers with complex plumbing installations and repairs.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend solutions.
• Install pipes, valves, and fixtures for new construction and service.
• Measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.
• Packing/sorting tools, materials & equipment for each job
• Cutting open walls to expose piping
• Installing boilers & water heaters.
• Installing plumbing fixtures (sinks, faucets, toilets & shower bodies)
• Maintain a clean, organized work truck and job site.
• Follow all local building codes and safety standards.
• Rough plumbing/installation of all new piping.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently while prioritizing safety and quality

Qualifications

• Plumbing Experience a MUST
• Clean/Valid Driver's license
• Punctual, Reliable and a Strong desire to learn
• Good problem solving skills
• Good listening and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work after-hours and weekends when needed.
• Construction experience or background in construction plumbing is highly preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, and maintenance techniques
• Experience with welding, pipe threading, carpentry, HVAC or handyman tasks is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment properly
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Commitment to safety protocol adherence and understanding of building code compliance
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a field service environment
