Locum Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Bay City, MI

Our facility is seeking dedicated Gastroenterologists for ongoing 24-hour call coverage through 2026. The schedule offers a balanced work-life dynamic with no weekend calls, allowing you to fully enjoy the picturesque waterfront community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage from Monday 7am to Thursday 7am.
- Manage 12-hour call coverage on Fridays from 7am to 7pm.
- Perform Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
- Collaborate with hospitalist support and local colorectal surgeons.
- Work at a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (BE providers willing to be reviewed will also be considered).
- Active Michigan medical license (required).
- ERCP proficiency (required).
- No history of malpractice (required for quick credentialing).
- Familiarity with reverse billing and Doc Time clocking system.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current DEA registration (required at the time of start).
- Vaccination documentation for Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and Flu (as specified).
- TB test results (within 12 months) and TDAP vaccination (within the last 10 years).
