Job Opportunity: Locum Physician in Gastroenterology

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive gastroenterological care including ERCP procedures.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage on a rotating schedule from Monday 7am to Thursday 7am, and Friday 7am to 7pm.
- Collaborate with hospitalist teams and local colorectal surgeons for optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure efficient patient management in a supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Michigan medical license.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology is required; willing to consider Truly BE providers.
- Experience with ERCP is mandatory.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Preferred local provider status to minimize travel costs.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current DEA registration is required.
- Documentation of various vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, and TDAP (within the last 10 years).
- Proof of flu vaccination for the current season and TB test results from within the last 12 months.
- Malpractice-free record is essential for quick credentialing.
