Accounts Payable

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software.

Pay: 20-22/Hour

Duties

• Process accounts payable transactions including invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain vendor relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Utilize financial software such as Sage Intacct for data entry and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements by providing necessary documentation related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards regarding payments and record-keeping.
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an accounting role or as an accounts payable clerk is required.

• Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits and credits.
• Proficiency in financial software, preferably Sage Intacct.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Compensation details: 20-22 Hourly Wage
