Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble diesel engines and related components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Perform quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve assembly-related challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document assembly processes and maintain records of work performed.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in diesel technology.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in diesel engine assembly or mechanical assembly.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine components and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various conditions, including noise and varying temperatures.
