Warehouse & Manufacturing Job Descriptions
1. Forklift Operator
Responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and store materials throughout the warehouse. Duties include transporting pallets, organizing inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe work environment. Previous forklift experience and certification, where required, are preferred.
2. Clamp Forklift Operator
Responsible for operating a clamp forklift to move, handle, and stack products such as paper rolls, appliances, cartons, or other clamp-compatible materials. Must safely secure and transport loads while maintaining product quality and following warehouse safety procedures. Previous clamp forklift experience is preferred.
3. Pacer Operator
Responsible for operating a Pacer forklift or similar stand-up powered industrial truck to move pallets, transport materials, and support warehouse operations. Duties include loading, unloading, replenishment, and moving products throughout the facility. Previous Pacer or stand-up forklift experience is preferred.
4. Reach Truck Operator
Responsible for operating a reach truck to move, retrieve, and store pallets in warehouse racking systems. Duties include replenishing inventory, picking orders, moving products, and maintaining accurate inventory placement. Previous reach truck experience and the ability to work at various rack heights are preferred.
5. Cherry Picker Operator
Responsible for operating an order picker, commonly known as a cherry picker, to retrieve products from elevated warehouse locations. Duties include order picking, inventory replenishment, product scanning, and safely handling materials at various heights. Previous cherry picker experience and comfort working at elevated heights are preferred.
6. Turret Truck Operator
Responsible for operating a turret truck to retrieve, store, and move pallets within narrow-aisle warehouse racking systems. Duties include high-level order picking, inventory replenishment, and accurately positioning products in designated locations. Previous turret truck experience and the ability to operate equipment in narrow aisles are preferred.
7. General Warehouse Laborer
Responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through loading and unloading, packing, sorting, labeling, palletizing, picking orders, and maintaining a clean work area. Must be able to follow instructions, work efficiently, and safely handle materials. Previous warehouse experience is a plus but may not be required.
8. Machine Operator
Responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting production machinery to meet production and quality standards. Duties include loading materials, inspecting finished products, identifying equipment issues, performing basic machine maintenance, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred.
