Fence Installer/General Laborer

Job Summary

DiCarlo Fence is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to assist with residential, commercial, and industrial fence installation projects. The ideal candidate is physically fit, works well as part of a team, follows safety procedures, and has construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, and other types of fencing.
• Load, unload, and transport fencing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Dig post holes and assist with setting fence posts in concrete.
• Measure, cut, carry, and position fencing materials as directed.
• Operate basic hand tools and assist with power tools under supervision.
• Prepare job sites and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist fence installers with assembling fence panels, gates, and hardware.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders and supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other general labor duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a Real ID.
• Must have a valid Drivers License.
• Must be able to pass a 20yr background check and drug screen.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more, with assistance or proper equipment when needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
